WHY I WANT TO BE YOUR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

Faith, family, and service to the state of Oklahoma are the cornerstones of my life. After months of serious consideration and prayer, I believe this is the right time to run for Lieutenant Governor.

I am a proven conservative Republican leader dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Oklahomans.

Combining my law enforcement and legislative experience with my business background will enable me to be an effective leader in addressing our state’s most pressing problems.

I was honored to serve the state of Oklahoma for over 28 years in state law enforcement, with the last nine years as Director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

During my time leading OBN, we were successful on many fronts, but none more important than securing the legislative authority to combat Human Trafficking and battling the Mexican drug cartels bringing deadly illegal drugs like methamphetamines into Oklahoma.

For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of serving in the State Senate. With my common sense, conservative approach to governing, I have authored legislation that helps Oklahomans from all walks of life. I have supported First Responders, public safety, victims’ rights, small businesses, and Second Amendment rights. I have also advocated for our growing aerospace industry, enhancing economic development opportunities and workforce development.

My wife, Kim, a physician, and I understand the joys and challenges of operating a small business. With hard work and determination, we have expanded Weaver Clinics to five communities in Oklahoma.

I am committed to campaigning in all 77 counties. I will listen to your ideas and concerns, and I will share my vision and passion so that we can work together to make the future brighter.
